OUGD403 (Studio Brief 4) Further Research

My research then led me into looking at info graphics for twitter, and how graphic designers use the statistics to produce their work in an informative way. 


My thought process then started to focus on twitter scandals, twitter zombies, and fake followers. From this, in my notebook I noted down key points that came to mind, I liked the idea of looking into the idea of being overly consumed and 'worn out' by the effects social networking has. Taking the idea of 'twitter zombies' this suggested I could look at how people believe everything they read, and the majority of todays information is communicated falsely. (Refer to notebook.) 

From this I started to brainstorm some ideas:
  • fake followers: idea of fakeness
  • self obsession, vein, vanity and not reality
  • emotional: created a generation obsessed with themselves, no compassion, consumed into the social media, the brain cant digest true emotional content
  • fake followers portrays robotic imagery (slaves to social network)
These ideas have been produced from my initial thought process, the ideas are generated from concerns caused by twitter.
