These designs show an idea for both type and image, and just type. For the type and image poster, I have incorporated the twitter logo as the image quality, and I have used the idea of communicating the idea of promoted tweets as the direct question. A promoted tweet is the idea to advertisement platforms of large corporations can be hijacked by members of the public, it is seen to be an interesting trend. I think the overall layout of the initial design works quite well, as I have kept it simplistic yet high impact. The text poster on the right, shows bold minimal text. It could be argued that this is not enough for a single poster to stand alone, but I feel that the minimalistic qualities allow it to speak volume and communicate the message clearly to the audience. This initial design also includes a direct question to the audience, this is a good concept to use, as it communicates personally to the audience.
These designs show more ideas for the type, and image and type posters. I considered the typeface to use within these posters and initially thought about using the twitter typeface so they are immediately recognisable to the audience, however I felt that a simpler font may be more practical and grab the audiences attention more. I feel that the 'brain in time warp' poster is the weakest design, even though the initial sketch portrays a high impact design the quite or information communicated could be developed. The idea of using the brain for the image and type poster is another design which doesn't seem to have as much potential as it could, I think that this design is too cluttered to communicate the message in an informative and strong manor. The other image and text poster I have designed features nice illustrative qualities, however the impact is not strong enough.
These two sketches show possible ideas for my image posters. I found the concept of using the 'twitter zombie' interesting, so I began to play around with the idea of using hand rendered skills to create an illustration suitable to be used on my image poster.
